Eric's company was extremely skilled, careful, professional and responsive from start to finish. We first contacted him upon recommendation of a trusted neighbor in Spring 2020, to address our apparently misaligned and possibly collapsing front marble steps. Our house is a large 1890 Baltimore rowhouse. Eric told us that it would be months before he could start our job, but he gave us a complete estimate for the repair and reconstruction work on our steps' support structure and assured us that he and his crew were experienced in just these sorts of jobs, showing us photos of several similar large marble jobs they had completed. Eric was true to his word, starting the job in early fall and finishing within a few weeks' time. The steps look fantastic! The support structure is firmly grounded, solid and completely level. Eric walked us through the selection of the sealing cement between the steps and the steps' finish and it turned out just as we'd hoped, matching the look and feel of the rest of the house's facade. The cost was exactly what Eric had projected. If I have one constructive comment, it is that the Stinebaugh crew could have taken more care with sealing off the basement openings under the steps before and during the work, as more dust and draft than expected found its way into our basement apartment. I recommend that anyone facing a similar situation be sure to give specific instructions to avoid the dust and draft. Otherwise , I give Stinebaugh Masonry the highest recommendation.
